3.1 AI Processing

Frends uses third-party AI providers to generate responses from virtual characters.

• Conversations may be processed by:

• These providers process data in accordance with their own privacy policies.
• We use contractual and technical safeguards to protect user data.
• AI providers do not receive information intended to directly identify users.

4. AI Characters & Emotional Interaction Disclaimer

Frends includes AI-generated virtual characters ("friends", "masks").

• These characters are artificial personas, not real people.
• They are designed to simulate conversation and companionship.
• Emotional responses or attachment may occur, but all interactions are generated by AI.
• Frends is not a replacement for real human relationships or professional support.

5. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

If you are located in the EU or EEA, we process personal data based on:

• Consent - when you choose to use the app and its features
• Contractual necessity - to provide the service you request
• Legitimate interest - improving and securing the app

You may withdraw consent at any time by stopping use of the app or deleting your account.
